**This is a companion app for those travelers who utilize Monaeo's broader residency / tax compliance platform built for individuals (Personal Edition) and companies (Enterprise Edition).**

Manage travel-related tax exposures and defend against audits with Monaeo’s technology solutions.

Monaeo’s platform helps companies and individuals analyze their travel data (for e.g., from this companion app, travel booking, credit card transactions, etc.) to better manage and prove multi-location tax exposures including: Statutory Residency, Domicile Change, Payroll Withholding, Nexus/Permanent Establishment, Corporate Income Allocation, among others.

This *companion app* can help Monaeo subscribers automatically track and review the number of days they spend in different locations for personal or work purposes. If you are a business traveler you should check with your HR/Mobility team whether you are approved to use this app as part of Monaeo’s Enterprise Edition. If you are a Personal Edition subscriber, this app can help make for a stronger audit defense.

Monaeo’s customers include thousands of wealthy individuals and over 50 global enterprise clients across the technology, software, media, transportation, and financial services sectors.

HOW THE MONAEO APP WORKS

Monaeo’s companion app can enhance the experience by providing an easy way for travelers to automatically log their trips on the mobile device of their choice (phone, tablet or laptop). The app can run in the background to help you effortlessly and securely track the number of days spent in different tax jurisdictions. This travel data is then encrypted and sent securely to our servers where Monaeo’s proprietary computation engines generate the relevant reports, alerts, data feeds, and calculations you need for confident compliance and audit defense.

KEY BENEFITS OF THE APP

* Convenience: Automated travel logging. Search trips and travel in the calendar.
* Visibility: Early alerts help you plan travel to avoid unnecessary exposures or penalties
* Reliability: Audit-tested reports with hard data help protect you in case of an audit

PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY

Monaeo has carefully designed every part of the platform including this app to ensure the highest levels of individual privacy and security:

* You own your data in Monaeo and control access to it
* This app only accesses information absolutely needed for compliance
* All app data is encrypted before being sent to our servers and remains encrypted in storage

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
* Available on iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, and iPod
* OS 10.3 and above

Note: continued use of GPS running in the background may dramatically decrease battery life.
